When i was diagnosed with MS i felt like i knew what it was from,

i even told the neurologist I’m sure i know what this is, however my root cause didn’t belong in the list they referred to.

The conflict being, my cause was from physical injury to my spine, and was backed up by the fact that if i would carry a suitcase my symptoms would worsen, and as i grew in pregnancy the extra belly weight pulled on my spine and aggravated my symptoms.

But ‘No’ according to the checklist physical strain has no effect on MS symptoms and during pregnancy it should be in remission, not aggravated…

So instead of listening to me they found their other checklist ticks such as lesions on the spinal cord and the corrosponding immune activity in the spinal fluid to stamp me a diagnosis.

And as i lay there with 4 neurologists standing at the end of my hospital bed scratching their heads about to why i couldn’t feel or move my legs from the waist down.

MS Multiple Sclerosis is a ‘lifelong progressive disease and at some point you’ll end a shortened life in a wheelchair’… well so they’d say.

I declined medication, left the hospital barely able to walk, knowing i had a better chance to fix this myself than a system not willing to listen to my true representations (i’m already an experienced practitioner at this point)

I listened to my body, asked it, i pulled my up past training in medical intuition and utilised it, tested it, blew out the limitations of the therapys i practiced so they no longer had to be done a certain way.

And as soon as i did this it showed me the wounds created in my spinal cord, i applied my therapy then an unlocking happened as my body connected to this area and healed it, progressing from a shuffle walk into a 3K full paced run, & a clear MRI..MS free

This changed my practice and ultimately shifted my casually used psychic abilities into priority, practicing and adjusting my clinical practice over and over until i could transfer those same techniques on other people in similar circumstances.

NO diets, herbs, exercises, meditation, or avoiding anything required to create the clinical results in the tough cases im presented with everyday.

I also utilised none of these in my own healing of a complex auto-immune to complete resolution

I LOVE all these supportive ways to build a healthy system, i just couldn’t use these as players because:

☀️ I was pregnant and had an infant (try telling a pregnant women to restrict her diet or spend alot of time food prepping)

☀️ It was covid and access to supplements were difficult

☀️ I lost all motor to my legs so i could not exercise, and could not stand to always be cooking

☀️ I had a newborn so i napped instead of meditating

☀️ I had to sort this FROM WITHIN this state, could it be done? Yes.

Well what then?

I utilised a therapy i’m at Masters level with called
NIS Neurological Integration System. And I utilised expanding self-communication with my body.

Neural feedback system. Ask/response, if you want to know something then ask the system directly.

💖 The magic is in working with the nervous system

💖 The nerves themselves

These are a large communication network in which all neural activity exists.

How all organ systems, structural elements, brain anatomy, cranial nerves, cellular responses all communicate to each other.

So finding the defaults in our wiring is crucial to the correction of these systems to function healthily.

Defaults can be created through these planes:

🌿 Physical means (injury, pathogenic factor, toxicity)
🌿 Mental means (stress responses, overactivity or underactivity within the mind/brain anatomy
🌿 Emotional creation and held trauma
🌿 Spiritual means, healthy direction or is your life on path

Each neural pattern that displays, shows what plane it was caused within, the 3 other faults its creating (aka symptoms from other neural weaknesses occurring)
In which that information is put in verbal terms back to the client and the neural correction made but a series of nerve stimulus created by me.

Nerve test & correction is repeated until the systems symptoms start clearing and the ‘condition’ (otherwise seen as a collective of neural defaults) reverses.

I’m currently working with different plants and energies to help improve my blood health and circulation:
yarrow, specifically tea, to regulate blood
fresh and dried ginger root, to increase warmth in the body
lemon juice and warm water before iron-rich meals
working with the element of Fire and the related solar plexus chakra

These practices support me by improving bioaccessibility and bioavailability of iron, and support strength, vitality, ego, willpower, stamina, and inner power.

Outside of work, if the sun is out I’m in nature; diving into the ocean waves or sitting atop a mountain connecting with Spirit of Place.

I enjoy tapping into my intuition to see what and where I am drawn to - that could be gardening, crafting, upcycling, participating in women’s groups or trying something new! I love diversity in all its forms - particularly environmental and personal.

I believe sensitivity is my superpower.

💖 My work integrates aspects of talking therapy, somatic body based therapy, life coaching, and Psychosynthesis counselling/psychotherapy.

I’m passionate about my work, I find it deeply fulfilling and uplifting.

I have 20 years experience working with clients of varying ages, including many children with anxiety and trauma following the Christchurch Earthquakes and the mosque shootings.

I have experienced supporting clients in many areas, including sexuality, eating disorders, anxiety, phobias, grief, depression, life transitions, meaning, purpose and values, connection with self and others, and spirituality.

It is my intention to work with optimism, humour, gentleness and joy, providing a holistic approach to healing.

My approach is integrative. This means that I use different theories depending on what will best meet the needs of my clients. I draw on the main psychotherapy traditions, including:

Psychodynamic - which recognises the importance of the early years and people’s formative relationships;

Humanistic - helping clients recognise their strength and creativity;

Body-based - looking at the physical basis of emotion, experience, growth and change, including what neuroscience and attachment studies have currently shown;

Transpersonal - addressing spiritual concerns and questions of existence.

Fundamentally, my work is grounded in the person-centred approach: A talking therapy that puts you, the client, at the centre of the counselling relationship.

A solid evidence based practice means I have specific training to guide you through how to manage hard emotions and situations in a safe professional and effective way.
